Rimbaud


This is a cover illustration I did for "Arthur Rimbaud's: A Season in Hell". This guy used to take copious amounts of absinthe to inspire his writings. Thats a basic generalization of the kid but he was in fact a genius and a brilliant avant-garde poet. His biography is a must read for anyone who appreciates people who lived extraordinary lives. It would have been too easy to go over the top as there is plenty of symbolism in his poetry. Obviously this version does not contain the text(ill post that another time) but iam relatively happy with the finished piece...
