I finished this last week, but I only got it scanned in today (and it was a bloody journey I tell ya). Yes, I have finally found somewhere that accommodates the large scan option, after much searching. It is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
This painting was one of those dream commissions (no pun intended). The client sent me an email saying she wanted: "a fairly dark midsummers night dream scene set in a forest...with mystical animals and characters." I like to think I ticked a couple of those boxes.
