I finished this little fella yesterday. The specifications for this painting were strict, it had to be 30cm x 30cm. I found it restrictive at times, particularly the painting of the skin tone, but I think its turned out pretty decent. Its going to be part of an exhibition based on myth and the folktale, in which each of the images is slightly subverted in some way. Thats why I have only posted a small segment, as the exhibition is in early May. But that one aside, I'm hoping it will be part of a broader, more ambitious exhibition early next year. We shall see...
